DJ CreDes is a vinyl loving DJ and an addicted housemusic passionate whose sound mainly consist outta minimal and deephousevibes always focused on his interplanetary groove. His sets are appreciated because of its dark basslines, hypnotic melodies, sexy vocals, airy strings but straight rhythms to make you feel like dancing.
Born in the rural area of south Germany little DJ CreDes was around 8 or 9 when he started playing folklore music influenced and supported by his father. Beside that his music-fanatic father took him on a journey trough beatmusic as well as classical stuff, so that he could win a broad feeling and understatement for music in general as well as rhythm and melody in special already in his early days.
At the beginning of 21century DJ CreDes made his first steps into house and techno scene. Influenced by the sound of Chicago and Detroit he became part of the one and only lifestyle called Jack the House! After different destinations living and partying cross Germany he found himself living in Stammheimcity Kassel, where he joined one of the most intensive and creative scene in electronic dance music.
As next consequent step DJ CreDes staffed himself with two Technics 1210 and a mixer to putting vinyl on the “wheels of steel”. In this context he sees himself as a housemusic playing medium which generates innovativeness in beat & bass by the idea of “Creative Destruction”, which says you first have to destroy the existing to be able to create something new. So DJ CreDes sees himself as a kind of transformer which destroys the existing art housemusic banned on vinyl trough a mixer to create and recombine a new innovative beat.
After throwing and playing at/a lot of events a couple of years cross Germany DJ CreDes was discovered by bespmusic in 2010 and getting signed to the Kassel based deephouse-label. He is happy to join artists like Afrilounge and Cadenza-Act Andomat 3000 within the label as well as getting part of the A.R.M.-family Kassel. Next to his biggest passion being a DJ he is now more and more busy with label tasks and doing some releases. His first release “Honz” on Osman Strauss Split EP (bespmusic004) pops his cherry with a dark scattered bassline, funky claps and a resonant burning synth line. Piano licks, vocal snippets and an acid line driven peak time speech issue proper instructions to the crowd. Currently DJ CreDes is living in Munich and is joining the pulsating electronic dance music scene there. Further he is holding a residency at infamous Plattenkonferenz / Munich.
